11月26日，“2020复杂系统先进控制与智能自动化秋季学术研讨会——杰出学者报告会”顺利举行。美国弗吉尼亚大学林宗利教授作了题为《Co-Design of Linear Low-and-High Gain Feedback and High Gain Observer for Suppression of Effects of Peaking on Semi-Global Stabilization》的学术报告，新加坡南洋理工大学谢立华教授作了题为《Efficient Reinforcement Learning-Based Control of Uncertain Nonlinear Systems》的学术报告，美国纽约大学姜钟平教授作了题为《Reinforcement Learning and Optimal Control for Uncertain Systems》的学术报告，加拿大阿尔伯塔大学黄彪教授作了题为《Robustness in Data Analytics》的学术报告，加拿大阿尔伯塔大学陈通文教授作了题为《Advanced Alarm Analytics Tools Developed at the University of Alberta》的学术报告。

11月27日，“2020复杂系统先进控制与智能自动化秋季学术研讨会——杰出学者报告会”第二场随后举行。澳大利亚斯威本科技大学韩清龙教授作了题为《Multi-Agent Systems Based Distributed Control and Optimization in Smart Grids》的学术报告，香港城市大学谢旻教授作了题为《Safety and Reliability of AI Systems–Some Challenging Issues》的学术报告，香港中文大学黄捷教授作了题为《Distributed Formation Flying of Multiple Spacecraft Systems over Switching Networks》的学术报告，加拿大温莎大学陈翔教授做了题为《Multi-objective H₂ and H_∞ Filtering and Control--A New Paradigm》的学术报告，香港中文大学陈本美教授作了题为《Research Trends in Developing Intelligent Unmanned Systems》的学术报告。
